Grosse journée de compétition ce jeudi 07 novembre au campus d’Abomey-Calavi. Après leur repos de la veille, les athlètes basketteurs et handballeurs sont revenus à la compétition. Au football, on jouait l’étape des quarts de finale. A l’issue de cette 6e journée de compétition, Eneam et Parakou valident leurs tickets pour les demi-finales au football. Au niveau de la balle au panier, c’est Uac et Parakou qui passent en finale alors qu’au handball, Parakou termine sur le podium.
La surprise de la journée est venue des étudiants de l’Université de Parakou (Up) qui ont éliminé l’équipe tenante du titre. En effet, l’Injeps tenante du titre et grand favoris de la compétition a été sortie dès les quarts par une vaillante équipe de Parakou. C’est pourtant les étudiants de l’université des sports qui frappent en premier en ouvrant le score. Les parakois n’abdiquent pas et égalisent dès le retour des vestiaires. Score final 1-1 au bout du temps réglementaire. C’est à la fatidique épreuve des tirs au but que Parakou l’emporte 4 tirs à 2.
Dans la dernière affiche des quarts de finale de la compétition, Eneam surprend les Cours Sonou pourtant favoris avant le début de la rencontre. Score final 1-0 pour Eneam qui rejoint en demi-finales Uac, Fashs et Up.
Au basketball, on jouait les demi-finales avec deux affiches au programme. L’Université de Parakou a d’abord disposé de la formation des Cours Sonou 69-52 avant que l’Uac ne valide à son tour son ticket pour la finale de la compétition en allant battre Hecm 62-46.
La formation de l’Up version handball, est facilement venue à bout de la Fss dans le match pour la troisième place. A l’arrivée, 63-14 pour les étudiants de Parakou qui finissent sur le podium.

Basketball : Up # Cours Sonou 69-42; Uac # Hecm 62-46
Handball : Up # Fss 63-14
