Le Bénin qui a fait son entrée en compétition, ce jeudi 07 mars 2024 au Badminton au pays de Kwame Nkrumah dans le cadre des 13èmes Jeux Africains « Accra 2023 » continue d’écrire sa page. Après deux jours de compétition, les Béninois sont toujours en course. Au terme de la journée de ce vendredi, les badistes béninois sont qualifiés pour les huitièmes de finales dans trois (03) épreuves sur les cinq (05) au départ. Au Simple Dame, après avoir battu Diallo Kadidjata du Burkina Faso, Flora Kpogbemabou a pu disposer de son adversaire et se qualifie pour les ¼ de finales de la compétition qui est d’un niveau très élevé.
Au Double Dames, Flora Kpoglemahou et sa binôme Gladys Akakpo arrachent leur billet pour les quarts de finale. Il en est de même que Oswald Fano-dosh et Carlos Ahouangassi au Double Hommes. La compétition se poursuit ce samedi au Borteyman stadium.
