Leader invaincu depuis le démarrage de la saison, Énergie Bbc défiait ce samedi 26 février 2022 pour le compte de la cinquième journée de la Ligue Professionnelle de Basketball du Bénin, la formation de Renaissance Bbc. Tout en maîtrise, la formation de la Société béninoise d’énergie électrique finit par s’imposer largement dans un match à sens unique.
Après une victoire avec plus de 100 points inscrits face à la Team Bs, les électriciennes récidivent et électrocutent cette fois Renaissance Bbc. Énergie continue donc son parcours sans faute dans la compétition. Opposée à Renaissance Bbc, le club de la Sbee a déroulé son basketball. Sans jamais trembler, les filles du coach Pyrrhus Sindehou, offrent un spectacle de taille au public sportif ayant effectué le déplacement. Avec un marquage individuel tout terrain, elles prennent les adversaires à la gorge, les empêchant ainsi de s’exprimer. Sans surprise, Judith Olaye et ses coéquipières remportent tous les quarts temps de la partie sans jamais encaissé 10 points ou plus (25-02; 28-03; 30-06; 30-04).
Les électriciennes bouclent ainsi un deuxième succès à plus de 100 points et s’imposent finalement 113-15. Malgré le carton plein et ce nouveau succès, la satisfaction n’est pas totale du côté de Energie : «nous ne sommes pas encore totalement satisfaits. Nous devons continuer à travailler et nous améliorer. La saison n’est pas terminée et notre objectif est d’élever le basketball féminin à un très haut niveau»; confie Pyrrhus Sindehou, coach Energie Bbc.
