Les acteurs du Football de Table ou encore appelé Baby-foot vont se retrouver au Congo-Kinshasa pour les travaux du Congrès constitutif de la Confédération africaine de Football de Table. Les travaux sont prévus pour avoir lieu du jeudi 13 au dimanche 16 février 2020.
En effet, l’ouverture des travaux aura lieu le vendredi 14 février. Le lendemain, se tiendra l’Assemblée générale qui va consacrer la création de la Confédération africaine de Football de Table. En marge de l’Ag, le pays hôte du 1er Championnat d’Afrique des nations de la discipline sera connu. Par ailleurs, il est également prévu des sessions de formation pour les équipes dirigeantes des Fédérations nationales.
Selon le président de la Fédération beninoise de Baby-foot, Délano Hountin Kiki, qui va prendre part activement aux travaux, l’objectif de la mise en place de cette confédération est de << rassembler les acteurs clés du Football Table en Afrique et d’accompagner la création de Fédérations nationales dans 21 pays pour devenir membre de l’Union des Confédérations africaines des sports >>.
