Invité le vendredi 24 avril 2020 du groupe africain des hommes de la presse sportive « Afrique Football Média », le ministre béninois des sports Oswald Homéky n’a pas oublié d’évoquer la gestion de la Fédération béninoise de football (Fbf).
En répondant à la question du journaliste Béninois, Ambroise Zinsou (Journal Fraternité), sur ce qu’il qualifie d’ « omniprésence du ministère dans la gestion de la Fbf », le patron des sports a donné une réponse claire et sans ambages : « il n’y a ni omniprésence ni dirigisme. Il y a purement et simplement une belle synergie que nous devons tous encourager et perpétuer. La guerre entre les gouvernements et les fédérations fait beaucoup de mal au sport. Nous avons décidé de montrer que la synergie est possible et les résultats sont sous nos yeux » ; a déclaré Oswald Homéky.
