Comme les autres Fédérations sportives béninoises, celle de Handball n’a pas hésité à suspendre toutes ses activités sur le plan national, africaine et internationale en application des décisions du Conseil extraordinaire des ministres en date du 17 mars 2020 jusqu’à nouvel ordre.
» En conséquence, nous vous demandons de prendre toutes les dispositions idoines pour éviter les rassemblements de quelque nature que ce soit dans le cadre de la pratique de notre discipline sportive afin de contribuer de façon efficace à la prévention et à la lutte contre la pandémie du Coronavirus qui représente un défi majeur pour notre pays et pour le monde « ; précise le communiqué signé du président de la Fédération béninoise de Handball, Antoine Bonou.
