L’équipe de ballon militaire de la Garde Républicaine du Bénin, de retour après sa tournée dans la partie septentrionale du pays du 06 au 20 mars 2020 est félicitée. En effet, les joueurs, membres de l’encadrement technique et le journaliste de Bénin Sports (Charles Dohou) qui a accompagné la délégation ont été félicités, ce lundi 23 mars 2020 au Palais de la Présidence au cours de la cérémonie des couleurs par des acclamations bien nourrits.
Le Commandant de la Garde Républicaine, le Colonel Dieudonné Tévoèdjrè satisfait du bilan sportif de la tournée et du comportement de la délégation, a, au nom de tout le personnel militaire félicité toute l’équipe du ballon militaire pour leur brillante prestation.
» Pendant deux semaines, vous avez affronté les autres unités de l’armée de terre. Votre prestation est impressionnante : 5 matches joués pour 5 victoires, 34 buts marqués contre 5 buts seulement encaissés. Vous nous avez honoré « ; s’exprimait le Colonel Dieudonné Tévoèdjrè.
Le Commandant de la Garde Républicaine a profité de cette occasion pour rappeler une fois encore les objectifs de ce voyage. » Cette tournée a été organisée en exécution de l’une des directives du Chef d’état-major de l’armée de terre (Cemat), le Colonel Fructueux Gbaguidi au titre de l’année 2020 et ce, depuis qu’il est aux commandes de l’Armée de Terre (AT). Il s’agit donc de créer et d’entretenir la cohésion au sein des différentes unités de l’armée de terre. Aussi tient-il à la promotion du sport sous toutes ses formes « ; a-t-il poursuivi.
Enfin, le Colonel Dieudonné Tévoèdjrè exhorte les joueurs ainsi que le staff technique à bien se préparer pour affronter les autres unités de l’armée de terre du Centre et du Sud Bénin dans les prochains mois.
