Une délégation conjointe de la Fédération béninoise de Basket-ball (Fbbb) et de l’Association béninoise de la presse sportive en ligne (Abpsl) étaient au domicile du journaliste Béninois, le promoteur du site internet www.sport229.com, Romuald Bakpé décédé ce dimanche 12 janvier 2020.
Les deux organisations sont allées apporter leur soutien moral à la famille du défunt notamment la veuve, les enfants, la maman et le papa du défunt. « Nous sommes venus vous présenter les condoléances au nom de la Fédération béninoise de Basket-ball. Vous devez avoir le courage qu’il faut pour surmonter cette épreuve», a lâché Martin Djogui, Secrétaire général de la Fbbb.
Le président de l’Abpsl n’a pas pu garder son émotion. Pérez Lekotan, au nom du Conseil d’Administration et des membres de l’Association béninoise de la presse sportive en ligne (Abpsl) a adressé un message fort à la veuve et aux enfants.
« Vous serez seules face aux difficultés et aux problèmes. Ne comptez sur personnes. L’avenir de l’héritage de Romuald Békpé dépendra de vous » ; a fait savoir le président de l’Abpsl.
Emue par la démarche, le porte-parole de la famille, le papa du disparu, a remercié la délégation pour le soutien et la démarche avant d’annoncer que son fils sera inhumé la semaine prochaine.
