Tournoi des Centres de formation de football : Les centres Odec et Olympique sport s’imposent

Démarrée, le vendredi 11 décembre 2020 sur les installations du stade municipal de Parakou, la 3ème édition du tournoi d’évaluation des centres de formation sportive a connu son apothéose, ce dimanche 13 décembre 2020. Au terme de la compétition, Odec de Malanville et Olympique sport de Parakou ont terminé champion.
La fête a été belle malgré le contexte de la crise sanitaire liée au Coronavirus qui secoue le monde entier. Ainsi, chez les U15, ce sont les jeunes de Odec qui se sont imposés à leurs adversaires du jour, Asac d’Abomey-Calavi. Après un nul, 1-1, les jeunes venus de Malanville ont tiré leur épingle du jeu 7 tirs contre 6 et succèdent à Kabongo de Parakou. Chez les U17, Olympiques Fc de Parakou, après sa qualification surprise, a dicté sa loi à ASDeC de Toviklin. Il fallu l’étape fatidique des nerfs pour départager les deux équipes. Alors, les protégés du Président Fadl Kabanigui Naro Assouma remportent le précieux sésame par 3 tirs contre 1.
12 au total pour le compte des deux catégories, les centres ont offert de belles parties de football à la population de Parakou. On peut conclure que le ministère des Sports (MSp) à travers la Direction du sport et de la formation sportive (Dsfs) avec à sa tête Okry Christophe Nonvignon a vu juste en organisant ce tournoi malgré la crise sanitaire liée au Coronavirus dans le monde entier. « Nous invitons les responsables des centres de formation de football à continuer le travail à la base »; a exhorté le directeur.
