Mission accomplie une nouvelle fois pour Mme Cretentia Tossou Yaro, Présidente de la Ligue régionale de Volley-ball de l’Ouémé-Plateau! C’est le week-end dernier que cette compétition qui s’est déroulée sans anicroche a connu son épilogue. Une dernière ligne droite qui a été parrainée par Alfred Toyétomè, le chef d’arrondissement de Tohouè, un pur produit de l’institut national de la jeunesse, de l’éducation et du sport (Injeps).
Des duels très enlevés surtout à l’étape des demi-finales qui n’ont laissé aucun spectateur de marbre. A cette occasion, ce sont les Loups Garous chez les dames et All Stars chez les hommes qui ont enlevé les deux trophées mis en jeu. Loups Garous a gommé en finale son homologue de Giba Vbc par 3 sets à 1 en première heure.
En seconde heure, Giba Vbc qui avait pourtant bien démarré la finale s’est faite rattrapper pour finalement perdre face aux All Stars par 3 sets à 1 au niveau des hommes. Ce faisant, All stars conserve son titre et représentera ces deux départements en compagnie de Giba Vbc dames à la phase nationale de ce championnat qui se déroulera sous peu cette fois-ci à Parakou dans le département du Borgou.
Très satisfaite de l’organisation de cette joute statutaire, la présidente de la Ligue régionale Crétentia Tossou Yaro a remercié les tenants et les aboutissants de son organisation et en a profité pour remercier les membres du comité exécutif de la Fédération béninoise de Volley-ball dirigée par Ali Yaro et le parrain, tous présents lors des finales, pour leurs soutiens indéfectibles. Attestations de participation, médailles, tee-shirts et trophées ont constitué le lot des récompenses.
