Nous avons recommandé que les manifestations sportives à caractère non essentiel ne se déroulent pas; le temps que nous puissions maîtriser la propagation de ce virus et l’éradiquer dans notre pays ; en espérant évidemment que les autres pays vont faire la même chose et que le monde entier va pouvoir dans quelques mois dire que nous avons tourné la page de cet épisode douloureux. C’est pour moi l’occasion de rappeler encore que la victoire de l’humanité contre ce mal dépend de chacun de nous. C’est de la capacité de chacun à se discipliner, à respecter les gestes barrières qui ont été prescrits que dépend la victoire que nous aurons sur ce virus. Et je veux espérer que tous autant que nous sommes, nous allons chaque jour à chaque instant faire le nécessaire pour que le monde reprenne son cours normal, que la vie reprenne son cours normal et que bien évidemment, les sportifs retournent à l’entraînement et en compétition dans les stades pour le bonheur de chacun de nous ».
