Après avoir décidé de valider la saison sportive 2019-2020 le 18 Juillet 2020, le Comité exécutif de la Fédération béninoise de Basketball dirigé par Docteur Ismahinl Onifadé vient de sortir le classement de la Super Ligue arrêtée. Il ressort de ce classement que chez les hommes, Elan sportif de Porto-Novo est l’équipe championne alors que les portuaires de Aspac sont vice-champions. Chez les dames, ce sont les joueuses de Aspac qui décrochent la couronne suivies des dames de Énergie de la Société béninoise d’énergie électrique (Sbee).
Le Conseil fédéral de la Fédération béninoise de basketball qui aura lieu le samedi 17 Octobre 2020 à Parakou sera l’occasion pour Ismahinl Onifadé et son équipe de s’expliquer à l’assemblée générale. Il s’agira de décider s’il faut reléguer ou non des équipes en division inférieure.

Il ressort de ce classement que chez les hommes, Elan sportif de Porto-Novo est l’équipe qui a dominé la saison alors que les portuaires de Aspac viennent en deuxième position. Chez les dames, ce sont les joueuses de Aspac qui caracolent en tête du classement suivies des dames de Énergie de la Société béninoise d’énergie électrique (Sbee).
Le Conseil fédéral de la Fédération béninoise de basketball qui aura lieu le samedi 17 octobre 2020 à Parakou sera l’occasion pour Ismahinl Onifadé et son équipe d’apporter plus de précisions sur certains aspects à l’assemblée générale. Il s’agira de décider s’il faut reléguer ou non des équipes en division inférieure comme l’a précisé le règlement particulier de la compétition et du sort des autres clubs. Aussi, le Comité exécutif devra statuer sur le cas des prochains représentants du Bénin aux compétitions internationales.
