Les finalistes de la Youzou Ligue Pro sont officiellement connus après les derniers matchs des play-offs National de ce samedi 20 avril 2024. Quatre rencontres animaient cette journée dont le classico retour du Centre Communautaire Eya. Au terme de cette rencontre lumineuse, Élan Coton réussit à se défaire de son vis à vis et file en finale.
En déplacement sur le Centre Communautaire Eya, Aspal Bbc a sorti la grande artillerie pour affronter les champions en titre. Les jeunes prodiges du Basket-ball du septentrion ont titillé les cotonculteurs dès le premier quart temps (20 – 17). Surpris, les locaux se resaisissent et prennent un léger avantage à la mi-temps (35 – 40). Les deux derniers quart temps auront été les plus sensationnelles et très prolifiques en actions qui font soulever le public.
Le troisième quart temps aurait pu tourner à l’avantage de Aspal qui rendait le jeu difficile au champion en titre (20 – 26). Le point d’orgue du match à été le dernier quart. Dégoulinant d’énergie et décidés à abattre l’adversaire désormais moribond et à court d’inspiration, Aspal réussi à prendre le gain de la periode (28 – 15) mais sera devancé au score finale par son adversaire(83 -81). Élan Coton, trébuche et file ainsi en finale pour défendre son titre face à Énergie qui, elle avait fait une belle opération face à Loungou (76 – 59). Chez les dames Élan Coton massacre une fois encore Kobourou (110 – 38) et Énergie humilie à domicile Cavalier Bbc sur un score à trois chiffre (100 – 16).
