Ce vendredi 27 décembre 2019 au Hall des arts, loisirs et sports de Cotonou ont été joués les matches qualificatifs pour les finales Dames et Messieurs. Chez les Messieurs. Flowers récidive pour la énième fois tandis que les Buffles ont créé la surprise. Chez les Dames Aspac et Flowers ont composté leurs billets.
Pour le compte de la 4ème
journée, quatre affiches ont tenu le public du Hals en haleine. Déjà
dans la matinée, les Portuaires de Cotonou, invincibles depuis le début
de la compétition s’offrent Aso Modèle de Porto-novo par 23-14. Les
Dames de Flowers pour se remettre en confiance disposeront des
militaires d’Entente par 20-13.
Chez les Messieurs, se jouaient les matches à
élimination directe. Les Buffles du Borgou ont écarté Abo-Sport d’Abomey
du chemin de la finale en les battant par le score de 26-18, après une
première mi-temps qui s’est soldée par 13-9.
Sans être inquiétés depuis la première journée, les protégés
d’Aimé Sèbio, le Manager Général de Flowers, ont une fois encore étalé
leur suprématie en éliminant les militaires d’Entente sur la marque de
23-33. Flowers en finale fera ainsi face, demain, aux redoutables
Buffles de Parakou qui disputeront une historique finale.
