Les Dragons de l’Ouémé recevaient Réal Sport de Parakou ce dimanche 19 janvier 2020 au Stade Charles de Gaulle de Porto-Novo. Ce match s’inscrit dans le cadre de la 14e journée de la Vitalor Ligue 1.
Dans une bonne ambiance, les deux équipes démarrent le match sur le coup de sifflet de nouveau arbitre Fifa Tanislas Ahomlanto assisté de Eric Ayimavo et de Razack Béllo. Mise à part le tir cadré de Latifou Tadjou à la 18e minute et l’occasion nette manquée de Folly Gbadoegan à la 30e minute de jeu, les locaux n’ont pas su trouver la solution face à une défense sereine des visiteurs lors de la première période de match malgré leur domination.
De retour des vestiaires, les poulains de Lafiou Yessoufou relancent la partie. Dès les premiers instants, les Parakois deviennent beaucoup plus confiant et percutant. Les occasions se multiplient, notamment, le tir cadré de Sofo Manafi de Réal Sport à la 63e minute et l’occasion manquée de Biney Koomson face à Mesmin Adoukonou à la 67e minute. Et c’est Jean Ogouchi qui délivre les orange et noir à la 71e minute en marquant le but de la rencontre.
La tension monte sur le terrain, ce qui donne une suite de rencontre agitée et tachetée de fautes. À la 93ième minute de jeu, Asare Moses Pelé de Réal Sport FC écope d’un carton rouge suite à un deuxième carton jaune obtenu au cours du match. Les poulains d’Ibrahim da-Silva, tombés les armes à la main, n’ont pas pu égaliser malgré les dernières offensives qui n’ont pas cessés de se multiplier dans le camp des locaux.
Selon le capitaine des Bleus et blancs, Adinane Imorou, ses coéquipiers et lui ont fait de leur mieux pour repartir avec le nul, seulement qu’ils ont péché à un niveau du match en encaissant selon lui, un but qu’il qualifie de bête.
