En effet, l’affiliation provisoire de la Fédération béninoise de baseball et de softball à été ratifiée lors du congrès de la World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) au Japon.
C’est le président Zounnadjè Fernando Lavenir lui-même qui a représenté le Bénin à ce congrès pour la ratification. Pour la circonstance, il s’est fait accompagner du Secrétaire général Chitou Moubarakou.

Très satisfait, le Béninois n’a pas caché ses impressions. C’est une grande joie empreinte de satisfaction pour lui d’être honoré devant plus de 290 membres représentant leurs Nations respectives. Zounnadjè Fernando Lavenir pense déjà à l’avenir comme l’indique son prénom.
